We are a collective of artists in the South West, UK.

Coming together in our co working space we have created a shop, gallery and workshop calendar. This incubator space will help artists sell their work, develop multiple income streams and become sustainable long term.

We hope to share our journey and strategies so others will be inspired and feel equipped to launch their careers.

Our Story

Oberi art was founded by Kexx community artist. After quiting her Probation Officer job in 2012 she had over 10 years of grant funded community projects. Kexx has developed strategies to help artists be sustainable and live the dream of quitting their jobs and having a creative career. In 2022. Kexx met her now husband Nick, a scaffolded, who earned to quite and be a sculpture artist. Kexx convinced him this was possible and the couple started Oberi.

Launching online courses of community artists the business found its feet. But it wasn't until their friend Sumo, a graffiti artist told Kexx he wanted to quite his job and do his art full time that Kexx decided to take the plunge and go all in on a creative co working space. The team chose a shop space and turned it into an incredible unique space. To complete the team, Harri joined as creative director and head of operations. With his media skills the team were able to develop a comprehensive offering of services and products.
